High Pressure to Low Pressure Air Supply

Typically the lower pressure requirements on a ship are serviced by taking a reduced pressure air supply from the high pressure local supply or ring-main.

Hale Hamilton manufacture & supply pressure reducing stations/ manifolds specifically designed to safely reduce the stored high pressure air down from typically 3,600psi (<250 bar )- 3,000psi (207 bar) to <100psi (7 bar) for all low pressure applications onboard a submarine.

Panels, valve chests, bottle/ cylinder adaptors, stop/ isolation valves, non-return/ check valves, back pressure maintaining valves, safety/ pressure relief valves, pressure regulators, electrically & pneumatically actuated valves, filters, pressure gauges, pipe couplings and adaptors are also supplied to service all other onboard air & hydraulic systems.
