Electrically actuated control valves - vehicle suspension

MV Series Solenoid valveVehicle gas struts are typically fitted with valves to enable nitrogen charging and discharging, which process varies the height of the vehicle off the ground. This operation may be simply to lower & raise the vehicle for air transportation or to provide continual variable ride height, depending on the damping characteristics required by the terrain the vehicle is traversing. Oil damped suspension struts may also be required to perform adaptive damping, depending on the terrain.  Hale Hamilton supply vehicle suspension manufacturers with gas & hydraulic control valves, either manual or electrically actuated to perform such functions.
Peak load pressures can be extreme and so valves supplied have to undergo rigorous load and cycle testing, together with other environmental soak tests.
