Hale Hamilton introduces new regulator aimed at aggressive environments

Hale Hamilton has introduced its stainless steel high-pressure dome-loaded regulator to the industrial valve market.

Suitable for service in aggressive environments, the product provides a flow of gas at controlled pressure.

One such environment for its application is in H2S safety breathing systems, in offshore applications. This requires corrosive resistant materials, such as those that the regulator is made from.

Hale Hamilton previously supplied Nickel Aluminium Bronze for these applications. However, coming in to line with the market, the firm now constructs the regulators entirely from stainless steel, eliminating the risk of hydrogen embrittlement issues.

It also has a balancing feature that ensures outlet pressure remains almost entirely unaffected by changes in inlet pressure. It also has a selection of easily-adjustable piston sizes and end caps, while a valve balanced by a piston can be sized for the required outlet pressure.

A valve balanced by a piston can be sized for the required outlet pressure, while selection of easily-adjustable piston sizes and end caps is available.

Hale Hamilton is an expert in both safe pressure control and the high pressure gas market. The firm has been producing valves for over 60 years, supplying to core markets across the world.
